On June 21st the annual MCABC Island Classic Golf Tournament was held, and AARC West Mechanical Insulation, Heat and Frost Local 118 and Mechanical Contractors Association of BC teamed up to make a generous donation of $4790 to Victoria Hospice.
They had a chance to present this cheque to Victoria Hospice on December 18th, and it was greatly appreciated. As previously quoted: “Victoria Hospice was honoured to be selected, for the second year in a row, as the beneficiary of the MCABC Island Classic Golf Tournament. We were also very grateful for the generous donation made by AARC WEST and the BC Insulators Local 118.” says Shelley Engelhardt, Fund Development Officer, Victoria Hospice. “The money raised through this event will go toward providing compassionate end-of-life care for patients and support for families, across Greater Victoria.”
