Sister Ashley Duncan was part of a meeting with Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development, and Labour, that discussed the recently signed United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and how it benefits Canadians and Canadian workers.
Patty Hajdu says “Our government negotiated hard and held out for a good deal. The USMCA is an agreement that is good for Canada, good for Canadian workers, and good for Canadian businesses. It includes the toughest enforceable measures upholding gender and minority rights in any Canadian trade agreement to date while also helping our middle class and those working hard to join it.”
