BC Insulators members enrolled in a union-recognized Trades Training program are eligible for two new $500 bursaries established by the BC Building Trades Council in the memory of Brother Fred Randall.
Randall was a long-time Business Manager and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 115, as well as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of BC for Burnaby-Edmonds and a Burnaby city councillor.
The deadline for applications is June 30th.
The following conditions apply – you must:
Be a member in good standing
Be enrolled in a union-recognized Trades Training Program
Submit a 250-word essay on the topic “Commitment to the Trade Union Principles”
The bursary selection committee will decide based on financial need; proficiency in the trade and applicant’s commitment to their union.
