Ashley Duncan and Vice President, Neil Munro, attended CaGBC’s “End of Summer” event last night.
They listened to some great speakers who discussed many interesting topics, including LEED projects, sustainable futures and buildings, and the importance of mechanical insulation.
It was an exciting night that ended with a quick tour, and they were able to check out some of the exposed insulation work.
“It’s always great attending these events, listening to the speakers, and getting to see where we fit into this world” says Ashley. “Some people don’t think about insulation as a sustainable, green practice, and we’ve been working hard to change that. We’re such an important, niche trade, and it’s exciting talking to engineers, energy managers, and people at these events, and seeing them realize this more and more.”
