The GreenJobs BC Conference which took place September 21st and 22nd, 2012, at the Coast Plaza Hotel in Vancouver was a great success.
The conference will brought together 200-300 British Columbians from across the Labour and Environmental movements, as well business, First Nations, community, government, and other sectors interested in building a strong green economy.
Bother Loftus and Johnson attended along with youth representative Brother Carlson. Together they joined in the discussions on how together we can create a green economy in British Columbia. Bother Loftus presented on building retrofits and brought a greater understanding of issues and solutions for policy makers, mapping out a green jobs plan for the province which included mechanical insulators.
